Its a wonderful story, very well written and I love that it is in graphic novel style. I have yet to see the movie though. I think I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Its an incredibly quick read, I think I finished it in one night. I really recommend it, but also have the sequal on hand to keep the story going. I've not read it yet (it is on my list) but I have heard that it is absolutely fantastic, it is a graphic novel about a girl whose family didn't leave Iran and how she deals with the oppression. Maybe after a happier, fluffier read? Maybe after reading this and seeing Stop-Loss this isn’t the kind of recommendation that you need, but I was wondering if you’ve read Persepolis?
